I got all of this food for $23:
I'm not a big mushroom fan, so this is an interesting challenge for me. But I found a bunch of yummy-sounding recipes that I'm excited to try. And I'm a little terrified to cook the artichokes, but again I found a recipe that sounds promising. What does everybody use their green onions for? I usually omit them from recipes because I never buy them. Help!?!?!?
And I got a bunch of extras for a total of $19:
I haven't decided what to do with the sourdough yet. Any suggestions? The apple cider was really yummy, and the kids have been begging me to open the dried pineapple chunks, but I'm saving them for Pina Colada Granola. Can't wait.

Pina colada granola sounds really cool. Let me know how it turns out! And as for the sourdough, just toast it up butter it. YUM! I love sourdough! :)
Artichokes are a FAV around here; especially when we play cards. We just cut them in half lengthwise & boil them until the leaves pull off easily. The part where the leaves attach is lighter and scrapes off easily with the teeth. We dip them in hollandaise sauce. YUMMY!!! The heart is the BEST PART!!
You can get wonton wraps and mix 1 block cream cheese with 1 bunch chopped green onion. Put a little dab in the middle of the square, fold to a triangle and do a little twist to the two far corners and fasten them together with egg yolk. Fry em up and they are SO good!
Sourdough is our favorite for grilled cheese, or you can make grilled panini with whatever leftovers need to be used up. Green onions can go in just about anything really, salads, eggs, casseroles, rice, whatever; my favorite is to add them to stir-fries.
Would you like our Penne della Buona Forchetta recipe? It uses a lot of mushrooms! AND you liked it when you ate it at our house in AZ--we didn't tell you about the mushrooms.
