I really should be cleaning instead of posting this, but I thought it was so funny.
Audrey: Mom, can you do a really important thing that I'd like? A really important favor for me?
Mom: What is it?
Audrey: Um, could you clean the whole house before Grandma gets here? Because I really don't want her stepping on all our stuff.
Mom: Well why can't you help me clean?
Audrey: Oh, cuz I'm very busy.
Uh huh. Coloring is so much more important than cleaning the house to a presentable level for company. Uh huh. Whatever.

Jeromy and I have been married for 9 years. We have two little girls, Audrey (6) and Kierra (4 1/2), and 2 little boys, Jacob (2 1/2), and Benjamin (6 weeks). I stay at home with our little munchkins and Jeromy works at a retail software company called Alpha Bay.

That's hilarious. At least she notices that it is a mess....so there's hope that one day it will bug her enough that she'll clean too!! The problem is when they don't even see that there's a mess. Good luck with your cleaning though.
